I recently started a part-time job as a social media manager for a local yoga studio. It is a combination of two of my passions and I am so excited about it. I get unlimited yoga classes as my payment, but that it fine with me because I’d spend the money on classes anyway. I have learned a lot about social media as I have used it to promote this blog and for my Etsy shop so I had a great foundation going into the position. I’ve been at it for a week and I have learned even more.
Canva
I love this app/website. I make most of my graphics using this. You can get a lot without even having to pay for anything. Some pictures and pre-made set ups cost money, but I just choose the free options and have done just fine with them. You can also upload your own pictures so if you find a picture that costs money you can just find a free one to upload to the site. I use it on my laptop, my phone and my Ipad. LOVE IT!!! Five stars!!!
Pixabay
This is a great site for free photos. It has a great selection and they are FREE!! You can make a donation to the site if you are so inclined, but there is a HUGE selection of photos and you don’t have to pay a dime. This has a website and an app so I can use it on both platforms. LOVE IT!! Five stars again!!
Ripl
I just started using this app the other day and I also love this one. You can make moving graphics that are way cool. This also has a free option with not as many choices. I opted for the Ripl Pro for $9.99 a month because I can use it for my job and my Etsy shop so I don’t mind paying the price. You can also upload your own pictures to this app; free version or paid version. This is only an app. You can post your graphics to Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram for this app or you can save them to post later. LOVE IT TOO!!! Five stars!!!
I love Canva and Pixabay. I like PicMonkey better than Canva, but I do use it sometimes. I will have to check out Ripl!!
I will have to check out PicMonkey…thanks:)
I am so in love with canva, still a beginner but it makes me hopeful! lol. will definitely try the photo resource.
LOVE Canva!!!!
I am so far behind on some social apps it isn’t funny. Will have to show this to my son who is a computer and app specialist. What he does for a living and see what he has to say about these.

Hey girl,
Canva and Pixabay are both awesome. Do you use Pixabay through WordSwag or just on its own?
I’ve never heard of Pixl but you’ve piqued my curiosity on that one. I’ll have to check that out.

I use PicMonkey to edit my pics! I think I just got used to it before I heard of Canva and once your brain is used to something, it’s hard to move to something else!
PicMonkey has been mentioned a lot in these comments.
I know of and love the first two – very handy sites! I didn’t know about the second one, but how fun is that? It’s awesome you get free yoga classes for doing the social media. I’d be okay with that deal too.
